October 1st and second, Matt “Noblord” Koutsoutis will be playing in The Hearthstone AfreecaTV Collegiate Cup. The tournament will consist of 8 people each representing their respective Universities. Noblord is looking forward to the tournament, saying: “I'm really excited that the college scene is expanding since most of the best NA Hearthstone players are college students. In this tournament, I'm looking forward to getting revenge on dude7597 in the finals for beating me in HCT Summer Preliminaries.” The AfreecaTV Collegiate Cup will take place once every 5 months to feature five different winners over the period. The tournament organizers plan to have all of the winners of the tournaments face off against professional players in an exhibition representing collegiate Hearthstone!

Noblord is currently ranked 36 on the NA server where he is constantly training with the top talent on the server. We are extremely humbled and excited for Noblord’s qualification into this tournament and give him our best wishes. Take home the gold and represent Rutgers Esports well Noblord!
